Eze goes to school

Nigeria's former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, 70, yesterday commenced academic studies at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), with an appeal to the media to see themselves as disciples of truth rather than peddling rumour.
Obasanjo who made the appeal during the special orientation excercise organised for him at the institution where he is currently studying Christian Theology as a post graduate diploma student, enrolled at the institution last year, but could not resume due to state matters.
In another development barely one week after leaving office, the former President yesterday experienced life outside the Presidency as he lamented how he spent two and half hours in a traffic jam between his Ota farm and Lagos.
The former President who spoke at a Welcome-Home Reception organized for him by the Abeokuta Special Group said that he was in the traffic jam while everywhere was flooded.
